Jenifer Hooten has been with Santa Fe Public Schools for 8 years. She has 14 years of teaching experience, from grade 6 through College Algebra. She taught at Capital High School and the Academy for Technology and the Classics, and just recently left the classroom to be the SFPS Math Coordinator. Jenifer graduated from Texas Tech with a B.S. in Mathematics and has a Masters degree in Public Health, with an emphasis on Biostatistics and Epidemiology. She and her husband have two daughters and enjoy a variety of outdoors activities.
